Daphne is our beautiful doe from RZ ACRES. She shines in dairy character with pliable dairy skin, openness in the ribs, wedge shaped withers, & refinement in the flank. She has a strong will to milk and although a late season show in 2022 dropped her production as a first freshener (our fault), she started off her second freshening strong with a whopping 5.5lbs on her first test. She performed well in butterfat on her first year on milk test and is ranked 91% overall in production for the Nigerian Dwarf breed. Our goal with Daphne is to find the right pairing for her. She has a lot of mammary capacity but could use more area of attachment, so we are utilizing AI with her to find the best pairing to achieve this.
